Well, I just purchased a dark candy apple red GT premium with manual tranny using my 06 torch red V6 as a trade. The new one is sooo much better. But I have a question about a dealer practise that has me a bit confused, upset. One of the options on the car is the active antitheft system, costing $325. At closing, the dealer offered to turn this system on for only an additional $499........what kind of BS is this!!!!

I have never heard of you buying a vehicle with an installed option and then being charged an outrageous fee to turn it on. Has this happened to all of the rest of you with with the antitheft system? I would really like to know.
