Cool just got a new toy

hey guys whats up. i signed up on this forum a while ago i havent posted much but i browse around every now and then. i drive a 2006 chevy cobalt w/ a few mods, but thats not really the point.

last night out of no were my dad bought a mustang its a 1993 LX 5speed convertible w/ the 5.0L engine, 36000 miles on the car. The body of the car is absolutly mint not a dent or ding anywere, underneath the car looks just as good not an ounce of rust, same goes for the interior it looks as if its never been used. and the engine bay is just sexy no trace of oil anywere from what i could see(it was 130am when i got home). the car is a blast to drive and runs beautifully. there are 3 things wrong with the car 1) the paint is oxidiezed really bad. 2) the convertible top will give you about as much cover as a prostitutes fishnets. and 3) the sterio doesnt work to well anymore. he paid 2gs for the car and from what i could find that was a pretty good deal. he says i can do some mods to the engine and i def plan to after we take care of the major issues. we still havent told my mom yet he took the car to get registered and drove it back to work today (hope it doesnt rain)
she probly wont be happy lol. the car was owned by an older man who lived in florida, he got sick and move up here to longisland to live w/ his sister i think. he passed away about 6 months ago and the cars been in the garage ever since. anyway i have to go eat and get ready 4 work but let me know what you guys think pics tomorrow

WOW!!!!! A 1993 mustang with only 36k?? That's amazing! I bet the reason the paint is oxidized is because the car sit for years in a driveway or something without being used. But wow, 2k for a 93 gt 5.0 with 36k miles on it. I have a 94 mustang with a little more than twice that and I thought mine was low.

Welcome to the forums
