Howdy. I just picked up my first stang. 00' GT Vert 100k $1,500. It was one of those too good to pass up deals. Its not mint, but thats ok. I snaged it off a buddy of mine who really needed cash. He coulda got a lot more for it but hes basically a lazy bastard. Rims.. brake dust black. Interior.. sticky, so much in fact that the fog and convertable buttons wouldnt move. and apparently he had it under a maple tree for a while at some point because there were lik 25 nickle sized spots where sap had dripped on it. so after the better part of 2 weeks detailing it all the sap, break dust, and spilt pop are off and it cleaned up pretty good.

Other than the detail, ive changed all the fluids. wipers. battery. new tires. and i think EVERY BULB IN THE VEHICLE. replaced the bumper (minor bender) with one off a V6 i got off ebay for 99cents. (i love ebay) the exhaust hanger bent on the passanger side so I just put on flowmaster super 44s and ran dumps.

Pros.
-miles not that high
-motor, trans, suspension great
-no funky sounds
-most of the body is in good shape

Cons.
-automatic
-drivers door was backed into, needs a skin
-cloged wiper nozzle
-could use tie rods, and and breaks
-belt starting to whine a little (not like crasy loud, just enough to make it sound like a S/C whine)
-and i think im going to have to change some seals, theres no spotting but there are spots on the underbody with residue build up on it.

its not one of those you take home to mom, but good enough to keep around for a while. ill post up some pics when i get some.
