If memory serves me well it was an 88-89 car as it was mono-tone red with the newer lace style wheels. The ones with the little trap door that covered the wheel lock. Not a very well thougt out design. I cursed every time I had to rotate the tires on one.
Other than that the XR4Ti and Scorpio were very nice driving cars albeit underated and underappreciated for their time.
I owned a couple of turbo cars in the past. An 87 Buick T-type and an 04 STi. Both fun cars that pulled like freight trains but I always returned to the rumble of the V8s.

Yeah i believe thats correct. 88-89 color matched side cladding and the single spoiler instead of the dual. I like the color matched cladding but i have a thing for the dual spoiler.
Buick T-Type`s are sweet cars! What happened to yours? My dad had the Regal Turbo back in the day.
I have to agree with you, i love a V8! But i like the gas mileage of a turbo car.
