Just found this place
I currently own a 99 mercury cougar, was around their forums for a while and learned alot. Now i'm starting to realize the power its lacking, and high milage just isn't working for me anymore. Was looking for some boards to see how buyers of the 05 mustang like it, and read they all loved it, so this weekend i'll be heading to the dealership to see if i can pick one up!

Good luck if you are looking for a 05 GT there are not many out there if you do find one you better get it.You will not be able to be to selective on what you want.I got my redfire 3 months ago I feel like a teenager again very hard to keep my foot out of pedal. I wish you luck on finding one.If you read through the forums you will learn alot about the Mustangs from other owners.

Just went to the dealership, and they had one mustang GT there, auto, limegreen color. But because of my current car not paid off yet, and payments a month I was upset, and it just wouldn't work. I'm only 19 so i don't really have much of a credit history, they said perhaps they could work out a deal on the standard, V6. It's got a semi-roush package deal, with 2 stripes, tinted windows, and a non working hood scoop. lol. I still enjoyed the car, and will be calling my current dealer to see if they'll knock some of the payoff down from my cougar & ford will pay them off to get me in my new Mustang.

Welcome! The 05 model is still new on sales floor. Take your time and wait for the right one to come along. You probably already know that by Aug/Sept. their prices will come down in order to make room for the 06's. Hopefully by then you'll be in better shape.
Another option is that by then, maybe you can find a used one. You won't have to pay as much and still be a hotshot.
