Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Ron, I'm the prooud owner of a 66 vert of which I drive the he## out of. Glad to be here, hope I can contribute.

BTW, why can't I view the help stickies? When I try to, it tells me I don't have permission. I'm just tryin to learn how to put a picture to my signature.

to get your picture as your signature click user cp above then go into edit signature and click the button that says insert image .

 

Tried that. Copied a URL of the pic I wanted from a webhost and it won't show when I try to preview it. I don't know what to do.

I your sig image a .jpg or .gif between [img] and [/img]?

 

you need a certain number of posts before you can have a pic in your sig (50 posts i think). and as far as viewing and posting in certain threads, again, there are some threads which require a certain number of posts before you are allowed access
