UK owner trying to trace history
Hi wonder if anybody could help me out.
I'm in the UK, and I own a 1967 Mustang Fastback in Dark Moss Green.
I'm trying to find out it's history, anything would be great.
My sister lives in CA and bought the car for me and we had it shipped, the guy we got it off was just selling it on.
We didn't get to meet the owner who was on the reg documents.
It was a lady who lived in Olympia WA 98506, there was a registration document on the steering column from 1982 with the same ladies name on. So she had it in her name from at least 1982 until late 2003, when she sold it. The guy's friend apparently bought it in WA and shipped it to CA to sell.
The reg number over there was 667 LGS.
I don't know if she is still at the address I have, and from my searches she could be quite old, so?
Just could do with any info to find out it's history, there are some interesting things on the car, it's very original and still has a complete late 60's first aid kit in it.
I would be great to find somebody who new the car.
Thanks.

Why dont you send her a letter asking her to provide you some information? From what I know...Ford produced 71,042 Mustang Fastbacks in 1967. The engines would vary from Codes: T, C, A, K or S. Each size varying also from 200-cid 6 (Code T) to 390-cid V-8 for code S. All this information is available on the internet or in Mustang Field Guide by Brad Bowling. Good luck.
