Default New here and looking to buy 1st Mustang

Been lurking awhile and found lots of useful information here. Stumbled across a 1968 Coupe for sale ($6,500) close to me so I was looking for some advice/opinions as to the what I could offer for it. Seller sent me about 30 pics and it looks to be pretty nice, other than the non-original paint. It's a 65A with a 289 V8, decent interior, looks pretty straight from all the pictures I have seen, but owner has little history of it before she owned it. I have made myself a checklist on what to look for when I see in in person and have ordered a standard Marti report on it. Are they asking too much? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums. The car looks real nice. Is it totally stock?

According to to seller, it is, other than the paint job which is not even an optioned color. The interior looks to be original and in good shape and it does appear to have the original 289 in it. I won't know for sure until I see it in person.
