After many years with a couple of late model Crown Vics, ( one a Police Interceptor), I have found the Mustang I always wanted; 1989 LX convertible 5.0, dark metallic gray, with only 25,000 original miles on it!
So far, I have changed oil plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter as precautions and removed the air filter box silencer.
I will probably go with Flowmasters soon, and I have a "Kenny Bell Extreme Matrix" sub frame connector kit on the way to Slater's Mustangs in Humble Texas for installation. My thinking is that now is the time to tighten up the whole car, before it starts to sag and rattle.
Looking forward to browsing this forum for ideas and help.
