New 331 Stroker Possibly
Hello!
I am happy to find this site. It looks like a lot of you members know what your talking about. I have been lurking for a few days now LOL.
I need advice...
A friend of mine is selling a 1993 GT with a profesionally fully rebuilt 331 stroker. All done with the original block. 5k miles on the rebuild too. It has all the goodies a 12 second car should have. The paint is new and the wheels are 17 inch Saleen deep dish. Full exhaust, Edelbrock 750 carb, and fully adjustable suspension just to name a few of the mods.
Is 7k a good deal? If I purchase it I will need to add an AC compressor/condensor...and a heater core as well. I believe it may need a new LSD and u-joints (just for my peace of mind) but not 100% sure. It's going to be daily driven so lowering the HP with the creature comforts is not a biggie to me. If I need more power later I'll just put some bigger AFR heads.
Thanks in adavnce!
