new from good old PA
hey there everyone, i'm new to the forum. Let me tell you about my ride. I own a 94 Mustang Convertible, with the 3.8L and a 5 speed. I bought the car for $500, a girl from work got it from her friends parents and she let a friend borrow it, well on his little joy ride the head gasket blew. Later after that whole ordeal she took it out knowing that the head gasket was bad and wrecked into a center divider on the highway. Well the passenger fender, headlight and parking light and the bumper were all destroyed. Knowing all of this i gave it a good thinking and i finally went and took a look at it. I fell in love immediatley, the dark jewel green with the tan top was a good combination, it made an impression on me obviously. Well right before graduation i had the $500 after selling my car at the time a 90 Plymouth Acclaim. Went down and got the car drove it home, it was a short distance and right away tore right into it, by time it was getting dark the whole front end was disasembled and motor was in the process. A month later, after all the work and frustration and the $750 that was needed for the head gasket kit and the fender, lights, and the bumper the time came to start it up. Not a problem it fired right up, no hesitation what so ever. I think it was a great graduation gift to myself to hear this thing purr, haha. Well not a problem with my stang from the day that i fired it up, everything works great and i absolutley love her. Now its for the minor mods that are in the process.
