New to the site, but not to Mustangs
Hello all. I have been reading the forums for quite awhile and finally decided to register. I have previously owned a 1986 GT AOD t-top car, a 1989 GT 5sp. and my newest acquisition is this 1990 GT AOD car. This car has been sitting under a carport since 1999 and is 100% stock down to the mufflers. An older lady purchased the car and racked up a little over 42,000 miles on it before it was parked. The underside of the car looks like new. The interior is in great shape and is only in need of a good cleaning. The ladies husband offered to get the car started before I purchased it, but I just trusted him that it ran instead of him circulating 10 year old fluids through it. I had the car brought home on a rollback and plan on getting her fired up within the next few days. I have purchased new fluids and filters as well as plugs,wires,cap,rotor,solenoid etc... Other than a BB sized ding on the drivers side 1/4 panel and the clearcoat peeling in places, the body is flawless (no rust) A critter built a nest under the hood, but miraculously, not a single wire is chewed up!!!
