I Must be Crazy
Taking over my oldest daughters project, '72 Mustang Coupe / 351 C / Automatic. The car was purchased by my daughter in SoCal back in 2000 as her 1st car. I live in Seattle, so was not able to really help her out much other than to help locate some parts, etc....and pay for some of them.
She is moving up to Seattle in about a week, so I was down there last month to visit both my daughters and see the newest grand daughter. Her sale of the car fell through, so I decided to take it over for the previous loan made to her. She had a reliable/honest mechanic that we took the car to, and he has been installing parts and rebuilding the front end since. Last items are installing stereo, rear tray and speakers and hoping to have enough time to get the already purchased headliner installed by outside shop.
The plan is to get down and drive the car back to Seattle, along with my daughter and her belongings. Didn't really need another car, as I currently have a 2007 Solstice and an '88 BMW 635 CSi. Oh well, you can never have too many cars....
