New Mustang owner
First, a note about my screen name. I got it from the plate I used to have on my '97 WS6:
At the time, it did... hence the plate. I've owned 3 F-Bodies over the years and made the switch because GM has lost me as a customer. After waiting 7 years for the 5th gen, the local dealer wanted to charge me $5K to $10K over sticker for a Camaro. Once I finish modding this Mustang, the "8ACOBRA" plate may go back on. Maybe I'll go to "8A Z28" instead. Haven't decided.
So, I traded my '06 350Z with 33k on it 2 weeks ago for a new '08 GT/CS stick shift. It's got every option except "Mobile Ease Bluetooth" and 3.55's. So far, I've blacked out all of the lights and tinted the windows. I've also ditched the 3' OEM antenna for a 6" billet one. I've also ordered the Borla cat-back and will be ordering the FRPP X-pipe soon. I'm getting 3.55's (Don't want 3.73's) in about a week or two.
Very next thing I need to do is remove the front plate and get the holes fixed. Next mods are going to be the Super Snake single stripe with the two outside small stripes and an "Elanor" grille (Don't like the chrome Pony) along with the GT Styling rear blackout panel (To match the tails). After that, It's the Maximum Motorsports Sport Box suspension and 19x9.5" Axis Super Hiro rims (See pic below. Don't like the retro style rims). Not doing any other power mods for now because I'll be saving for either the KB Stage 1 or the intercooled Whipple.
