North Central Texas
Hey guys, I'm from Graham, Texas.
I own a 2006 Mustang GT.
It is a manual (woot!)
I need recommendations for performance modifications.
What are must-have mods?
BECAUSE, I have a buddy who thinks his Challenger (5.7 Hemi, auto) is faster than my Mustang... I told him his car was too fat, and I'd beat him to 60 no problem, but I'm worried he could take me in the quarter.
And I want to make sure that he won't. That's why I'm here.
I'm thinking I want to start small. (i.e. cold air intake)
btw, my Mustang is completely stock, and I will have it for a very long time. I don't plan on selling it ever.

welcome to the forums first of all. and yes start with a good cai and tune. you can get it as a combo package from brenspeed, bama, vmp, and others. not sure how our cars stack up againts the challengers(i havent raced one yet). but as long as its not a srt-8 than i would think you shouldnt have a problem spanking that fat-a$$ hemi all the way down the track. what gears do you have? or do you know? if you have the 3.31's then gears are a must. 3.73 or 4.10's would be good for drag racing.
good luck with the mods. enjoy the stang
