New Member, but not 'yet' owner 2010 GT
Hello All,
So call it a mid-life crisis (Yea I'm only soon to be 34) I've managed to get a decent deal on a 2010 Base GT with the security package and 3.73 rear for 28k, about ~600 over invoice in Kona Blue with the charcoal cloth interior...This will only be a weekend cruiser as it is unpractical to only own a RWD in the North East. My daily driver is a '08 Legacy that will stay in the stable.
My only fear is I won't like the cloth interior (no deal has been signed) as I test drove a GT Premium with leather. Technically I can afford another 3k for the GT Premium but with my down payment and financing $320/mo is reasonable vs $400/mo. I can't seem to justify the added expense as this is basically a Sunday driver.
This will be my first Mustang and 5sp manual but not my first Ford.
Am I crazy?
Thanks for reading...

Don't know about the 2010 model but my daughter has an 08 with cloth seats and she is ordering the leather seat covers from Ford. Approx. $1000.00 then she is having them installed for $250.00. Perhaps your dealer could work something out for you if they want your business if not maybe you could locate another dealer thats willing to earn your business. And myself have always had pretty good luck with Ford products, where I can't say the same with other brands. Like I've heard all my life, that there are good ones and bad ones in all of them. But,once you get hooked on the Mustang, you'll probably be hooked for life.

welcome!
if you want to keep your payment low i would just get what you have and if you don't like the cloth save up for leather seat covers. would probably still be cheaper than adding $80 a month over 5 years. good luck and post some pics when you get it!!

Well I made the deal today got it for 27k, about 400 under invoice. Not to shabby for a 315 HP car
Pick it up Thursday it's a dealer trade, but I did get to see the Kona blue and I approve. Again it will only be a weekend cruiser (for now). Now to learn to drive stick
Thanks for the welcomes all
