New owner in Lawton, MI
I have recently aquired a 1982 Mustang GT from my brother who picked up the car for $125 as a roller with no rust which for a 1982 in Michigan is pretty outstanding. the car has a touch of surface rust which will soon be cured. main priority now is priming and locating a 5.0 and 4 speed manual which the car originally had. Also going with a 1990 GT style bumper cover. would like to build to about 4-500 horse eventually but am on a tight budget now. hopefully I'll find the knowledge I need here as I grew up and am still a Chevy guy. just appreciate muscle in all American forms.
How are you people finding good condition fox bodies in MI? Every fox I've come across around here has the 20-year rust-o-mod weight reduction package.
