Default newbie from WV

I'm here to talk about my passion. I love mustangs and especially my 65 coupe. My dad and I restored it about 10 years ago together and he let me chose some of the options. One thing I've always loved about it is that he let me chose the color. It is sapphire blue (Purple to me). The car was a 6 cylinder vehicle and I found it sitting in the woods beside a cemetary. My dad bought it for $500 and trailered it home. We had to cut the weeds away from it first. The car was pretty shot and after tearing it apart we thought we should have left it there. The car needed all exterior metal except for the roof and hood. The window sills were pretty good though. The entire floor was gone and you could see the ground before we touched it. The gas tank was rotted out also. The engine did run though. Here is what we did to it.

302 bored .040, arp rod bolts, flat top pistons, edelbrock rpm cam and intake, hooker long tube headers, C9OE 351W headers that have been ported with larger valves, Full MSD, Electric fan, 3" wide aluminum radiator, 17" Boyds wheels with nitto tires, C4 tranny with shift kit, 9" posi rear, MII front end (Just installed), Chrome manual steering rack, Chrome brake booster, 11" slotted and drilled front rotors, 5 lug conversion (Since it was a 4 lug car), Complete interior (Factory), 1969 Mach 1 hood scoop, we left the chrome FORD off the hood, and left the chrome MUSTANG off the hood, added the cobra sbake to the front fender and removed the coral from the grille, 5% tint.

The car is pretty sick but right now it is going through its second restoration. The newly installed 65 front suspension has been removed along with the shock towers and a MII IFS was installed. The motor has yet to be re-installed. Some metal work remains under the hood and it will be ready to paint under the hood. Can't wait.

Pictures to come and I'm sorry for the long post.
