Default Newbie here - considering getting a Mustang.

Hey guys and gals, my name is Jason and I live in AZ. Anywho I am considering getting an '07 Mustang GT. I presently drive an '07 Lexus IS and prior to that owned an '04 Nissan 350Z (with plenty of mods). Well, now I am looking into giving the wife the Lex (brownie points for sure) and getting an '07 GT. The one I am looking at has a Roush charger, Cervini side exhaust and body kit. Its the dark gray and looks amazing. Going to go test drive it this evening. However having owned import cars all my life (historically more reliable than most) I am wondering what sort of problems I may encounter with a Stang? Any TSB's I should know about? Quality issues? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

the engines are super reliable in mustangs and same holds for the drive train. the most you'd have to worry about is squeaks from the steering but im not sure on 07s because i own an 04 so correct me if im wrong guys. overall it'll be an awesome upgrade. torque ftw!

Cool, thanks for the info guys. Keep it coming if you could. Anyone know about the Roush chargers working well with the 4.6? Any known issues? I believe it was installed at the dealership so the warranty should be in tact. I cannot wait until 6 tonight to take a look at this beast.

I had an F-150 with the 4.6 in it... that truck is probably still on the road today with over 300k miles. I think its one of the more reliable engines built.... I had a '98 Cobra and never had any mechanical issues and I was a 16 year old with a need for speed and a lack of sense...

Welcome to the forum! American muscle FTW! I say if it drives well, has no leaks or noises and everything works then go for it. Like said before, torque FTW!
