Hello
Hello,
My names Frank and I have a year 2000 Mustang GT Silver with dark charcoal leather.
The Mustang was built in Dearborn for export to Japan where it stayed till late 2008 when it was imported into Great Britian by American Motor City in Surrey. I purchased the Mustang in May 2009 got it taxed and tested.
The Mustang was completly stock, I've sinced changed the exhaust system as it was running three cats per side, so got rid of two and put a 2.1/4" H pipe custom system on her. The dash was black and reading in kilometers so I've changed it for a 1999 35th aniv. siler dash for MPH read out.
It has 42000 miles on it so not bad at all for nine years, the body work, interior and under side are all in very good condition.
Since it's a Japan export car it has folding mirrors, flare and fire ext. inside and yellow turn signals as per Euro specifications/laws.
I've given her a good run up the motorway but always run out of room before realy winding her up. Have yet to take her to the track. As far as I can tell the Mustang is running fine, 30mph in 1st, 85mph in 2nd, 115mph in 3rd, 4th never been over 130mph yet.
Cruises all day long at 2000rpm at 68mph, but runs fine on cruise control at 80mph.
Has Radio, Cassette & CD player as standard ICE.
No realy plans to alter anything as she's running fine, might change the stock grill to delete the hex pattern for just the horse to give her a more agressive look.
Use her for shows and cruises at present on the weekend as £105.9/litre for Unleaded (95oct.) and £1.10/litre for Super unleaded (97+octane) thats over £5.00 per UKGallon!
