New from Ohio
Hey. Well, I don't have a Mustang presently, but I will, sooner or later, be a Mustang owner, so I joined here to do some research and ask some questions.
A little background: I'm a big Ford guy, and so is most of my family. I presently own a 2003 ZX2 (5-speed with a few minor mods) and a 2008 F-150 XL (V6, 5-speed, a few mild cosmetic upgrades and an upgraded rear end), and my first vehicle was a 1993 Ranger (3.0L V6, 5-speed, with LOTS of mods). My dad has owned Fords his whole life, and in my nearly 25 years, we've had 7 Fords & 2 Mercurys, not including the 3 I've had, so it's safe to say we've had good experience with FoMoCo products!
I've been a 'car guy'/back yard mechanic since I was 15, and enjoy everything from cars to trucks to motorcycles. No vehicle I own goes without TASTEFUL modification, whether that be significant performance/mechanical upgrades, or just a few fun/convenience improvements. I try to do as much of my own work and maintenance as possible. I'm an avid motorcycle rider, I've been riding for 5 seasons, and I crave a 'new' bike every year or 2, so I'm on my 4th sportbike, haha.
To complete my intro, as I started with, I don't have a Mustang yet, as despite my life-long love of the Mustang, I've not had a realistic chance to own one. I've driven a few, and have LOVED every minute of it, and may finally be giving in to the itch in the near future. We'll see what is in store for me, hopefully I'll be a fellow owner sooner than later.

Another new guy from Ohio
Hey guys, Just bought a 87 LX Coupe 5.0 5 speed, 1300 bucks, always wanted a stang and now I have one, has some needs but a great start, got it as a father/son project already looks like it will surpass my harley as a money pit, but thats part of the joy of owning a classic car RIGHT, any advice or tricks to make it faster and more reliable are greatly appreciated, I am sure I will be looking for lots of help here, first experience has been replacing the worn out junk plastic clutch quadrant with a nice billet adjustable one, more to come Thanks in advance for the help I am sure I will find here, will post some pics soon Jim
