Newbie from B.C. Canada
Hello all,
Great to join the group here as a new and also past mustang owner. My first car was a ’69 mach 1 that I purchased as a 15 year old even before I had a driver’s license. Saving up all my coins from sweeping floors, pumping gas, etc the car was 10 years old when I bought it and was seriously rusty – the extent of which I wasn’t fully aware of. It was originally a Winnipeg car that had suffered a decade of road salt on the prairies. After absorbing a pile of cash and a lot of time and effort it sadly saw its demise sliding into the rear of a Mercedes sedan on a rain slicked road here in Vancouver on an autumn afternoon in the early 1980’s.
That was many years ago (and many cars ago) yet I my heart was always set on eventually getting another 1969, which I have always felt is the ultimate classic mustang. They really got it right that year. Now three decades later that dream is a reality (as of two weeks ago) and I am about to undertake some work on the new family addition over the winter with my two boys (Ted 16, Aleks 12), who are as pumped as I am (and my wife too) about the new project. I’ll be relying on the knowledgeable forum members here for information to help the work progress along.
My first question though is how to post attachments. In the “Posting Rules” box at the bottom left of my screen it states that I “may not post attachments” How do I change this?
Many thanks!
Tony

Welcome to the forums!
I do believe you must get atleast 50 post before you can have full access to the forums..
maybe you can PM one of the mods and ask them if they can change it for you considering you are truely trying to get some info to us and out of us..
what kind of attachments are you trying to get through? pics, vids?

Hi GeritGoul,
Thank you for that info. Perhaps I do need to reach a certain minimum nmber of posts, although it seems somewhat foolish. It's strange that this condition is not stated anywhere that I have seen, and I have scoured this site for information. Maybe I will try to contact one of the mods, but will need to find out how to do this.
I am trying to post some pics in another thread in order to illustrate the measurements I am after regarding 1969 mach 1 decal placement.
Many thanks again,
Tony
