Here's pics of my 1999 35th Anniversary Mustang GT that I bought last August:
This was how I got it. Super clean, not a single dent and running like a top....
The very next day after I bought it, we started to play.... Less than 12 hours after delivery we were up at Summit Point, WV for the US Drift event.
By November, we headed out to California where things were starting to get serious.... Inside of 5 weeks, we tested at 3 different tracks (2 Drift and 1 Grip) and went to 2 other competitions. Man, ya'll get a lot of seat time out there.....
Then over the Winter we started working on the outside a bit...
And now here is where we're at today....
We're not done yet, but we're getting closer.... The chassis is getting close but at 2900lbs and only 190 RWHP, we gotta do something about that stock Motor......
As I'm sure you've figured out by now, this car is being built for the sport of Professional Drifting. I know some people aren't really into it but that's ok..... I personally like all forms of motorsports and having tried most of them know that each one of them takes it's own set of skills to be any good at it. We choose Drifting for this project because for one it is the fastest growing form of Motorsports in America today. A lot of attention is directed at it and a lot of companies are itching to be a part of it because it has really good demographics. Not to mention, it’s about as much fun to do as anything I’ve ever done before.....
So this is us and I look forward to learning and sharing with you all....!
