Whats up everyone?,
I have totally re-built and restored my 87 Fox Notch over the past few years into a full Griggs GR40 World challenge chassis including the watts link, Koni 30 series coilovers, wc longer lower rear control arms and sla along with the rest of their stuff.
Thats where I'm at now, entire car was media blasted and sprayed with por15 products. I re applyied all new seam sealer and now have a rolling chassis with 275/40-17s on all corners. Car has some custom metal work like mini tubs and quarters flared- good for 13", but still with stock shock tower, all new rear seat and trunk floor pan with ATL 22 gallon cell under it and my own copy of Griggs through the floor connectors/ bulkhead stiffeners with their lowers.
I am currently laying down Fatmat "Rattletrap" sound/ heat insulation( slightly thicker than Dynamat but lighter, 100 sq ft=$160 shipped) and re-plumbing my brake lines(driver adj prop valve, + line lock). After that I will run new fuel lines, re-wire the whole car, buy a stroker motor and drop it in with the G force T5 I have, and refresh everything in the black dash including all new Autometer gauges. After all that I will do all the bodywork(nothing major other than flared fenders) and paint this thing a deep dark candy apple red. Car will be fully tinted and has powder coated satin black 17x9 Konig Villians. That should cover it for now.
