Hello,

New here but not new to mustangs...

my dad and I restored a 66 coupe with inline 6, cruise O matic and factory air...
This was 25 years ago...

The new mustangs have revived my teenage years...

I WANT A GT! BAD!!!! gonna trade my truck in...

I have read some horror stories about some problems, Front end clunking noises, Fuel tanks, engine response, manual shifting clunking noises, and some water leak issues... oh, the radio issues too, not worried about that, I wont listen to the radio with a V8 purring

my question is, are these very common? Should I wait until mid 06 or later? Does FORD have fixes for these yet? are they being corrected in production or at the dealerships?

I want to get one ASAP but do not want to relive the Avalanche front end issues again...

Convince me that I am spooking myself, so I can go order the d@mn thing

from what ive heard their haven't been many problems with the new gt mustangs. i have however heard that the top can give youa little bit of trouble on the 05 convertable

 

Welcome to the forums. There is not too many problems on the 05's right now. Give it some time. lol. jk. But it seems to be a pretty well built car. I'm kind of worried about ford making too many though because first of all the resale is gonna drop like crazy and second, the quality is probally going to start to slack. But no major problems so far. Have fun!
