Hello,

I am new to this forum and the world of mustangs.I am interested in purchasing my first car and I have chosen the 1987-1993 Mustang 5.0 as my first car. I am particularly looking for a mustang within those years with the ground effects on the bottom (i.e. lowered sportier bumpers) and the taillights with the small slits in them. Is this the GT option ? I noticed while looking for mustangs on the net that they go by the name of the Mustang GT. Also what performance options were in the Mustang GT over the base Mustang

Any help would be appreciated
