I already verified the block as a teksid by seeing squares and not diamonds under the intake mani, also when i replaced the belt tensioner i purchased one for a 01 cobra and that one didnt fit so i went back and replaced it with one for a 99 cobra since i figured all 99s have the teksid and thats the only possible reason the 01 tensioner wouldnt fit. It did infact use a tensioner from a 99 cobra. Does this mean the motor might be out of a 99 cobra, or do the few 01 cobras with teksid blocks still use the 99 cobra belt tensioner.
the intake manifold that is on the car looks like it is from a mach 1. the original manifold wouldnt just crack under normal operation...he must have taken it off for some reason and when he put it back overtorqued the bolts furthermore judging by the upgraded fuel system id say it had some type of forced induction and was removed prior to the sale.

spark plug covers are black because he got them either powdercoated or from a mach 1 just like the intake mani but judging by the slight drip of paint in the drivers side top corner and the shine id say powerdercoated.

vin number i believe is on the back of the block by the header maybe someone else can comment to varify. i would just call a ford dealership to have them run ur vin and just ask them what originally came with the car.

lastly i wouldnt ride on cut springs of any kind. i would call the manufacturer of the coilovers and get their springs for the rear.

I just noticed i dont have that spring on the throttle body lever thats supposed to be there (see the end of the video), I know the cruise control was removed is that spring part of the cruise system, if not what does it do and do i need it.
