The oil spill isn't that bad in our area. We have yet to see it, and the wind/current has been in favor of pushing it away from Pensacola. Welcome, and I added you to my contact list for being a local (or future local).

My girlfriend's step-dad is military. When I met her they were stationed here at the Norfolk, VA naval base, but moved to pensacola in september. Ill send you a PM when I get down there (Late June, now) and maybe you can let me know any good weekly meets/shows, or things like that.

Well, I don't keep up with current "car gathering" events lately, but we do have an annual Mustang show here that is pretty huge at the fair grounds. There once was a weekly Saturday night gathering in North Pensacola of street cars for conversation meet and greet. Not kid stuff, mostly adults and very nice cars. Don't really know if they still do it, but I will make it a point to drive by there next week and scope the situation.
