Looking for a new Stang, teen on a budget!!!
Hey everybody!!!
I have always been a huge mustang fan since the day I was born! My grandpa has always owned one from a 71' to a 68' but recently sold them for lowered, twin turboed volvo wagon. Not bad for a 73 year old!
Anyway I am going off to college, driving across the country and my mom is keeping my 96 Explorer (nice excuse to get a car!!!) so naturally I am in the market for a stang! I basically am looking for something in the $5000 to $6000 range, but cheaper is better! I have been looking at 97-00 4.6 stangs in manual, but what do you think? I can do some work as I have taken 2 years of autoshop and have learned all the basics of engine mods and suspension work! I am gonna be at Embry Riddle (aeronautical engineering) in daytona beach florida so racing is in its future! I really need something that can last me through college though. Thanks in advance and any advice or help is appreciated!!!
