I bought my first mustang last year. 1989 Mustang GT with the 5.0 302. T-5 tranny

its pretty much stock besides the rebuild at 100k

(i have bbk underdrive pully's and bbk shorty chrome headers 1 5'8) those are all my mods

it was bored .30 over by the previos owner and now there is 160k on it

it runs good but needs touch up work on the body and interior


Street Racing stands at 5-2 as of right now

In Order:

1.Lost to a 97 Camaro Z28 6-speed (underdrive pully's, cold air intake, headers, chip) lost by a car length
2.Won-93 Lumina Z34 4-speed auto (200hp) beat him by about 4-5 car lengths. it was pretty bad.
3.Won-98 Grand Am GT 3.4L V6 (200hp) walked him by about the same 4-5 car lengths also
4.Won-93 Mustang GT vert auto. (stock) walked him bad
5.Won-91 Trans Am GTA 350 auto (245hp) 2-3 car lengths
6.Won-03 Tiburon GT 2.7 5-speed
7.Lost-02 Mustang Saleen #681 (460hp) he killed me

well let my know what you guys think.

i am not sure of what gears i should buy 3.73's or 4:10's? some one can you plz help? thanks
