Good Lord...What a Car!!!
So I was all stressed out from work...and was eying the new Mustangs on the way home from work...so I stopped in at the stealership and did a bad thing...I test drove one. I fell in love with the car. So what was I to do...Buy the damned thing, that's what....I could be dead tomorrow...may as well enjoy my hard work...ahh the midelife crisis...the perfect excuse to buy a toy.
So this is my first performance car, if you will... A 2011 V-6 premium, auto trans with the Pony Package...candy apple red, stripe deleted. Traded a Focus for it...
Now the Focus is a good little car...quite fast and nimble...but this Mustang is a beast...
This is the fastest, best handling car that I have ever driven...every time I put my foot into it, I think "Good Lord, I love this car!!!"
The first weekend I had it, I drove a 100 mile loop through the sawtooth mountains...felt like I was driving a rocket ship up the grades...and it just flew through the curves...
Took it to over to an old friend who has a beat to hell 65 mustang and let him drive it...he loved it. Now my friend is a chaplain at the local .mil base...we met the base commander coming back through the gate and the CC asked my friend, the chaplain, how fast he drove it...he wouldn't say as he didn't want to tell a lie....
I don't think I will add anything to it...it's fine the way it is..not interested in racing it..though I think I'm going to get a ticket or two in this thing...too hard NOT to go fast...oh well...good thing we don't have speed cameras in this state.
Ford will sell a ton of these...
