Default 66 Mustang

Hello from Washington State. Just picked up a 66 Mustang and starting to update some of the safety features, brakes, wiring, steering, suspension and heard this was a great forum to get some education. Just put on Wilwood Disc brake conversion kit on the front end and it looks and performs great. Now I'm in the middle of replacing all the wiring with a new harness. I don't like electrical work! This is going to take some time. later Rob!

Welcome Rob, Good luck with the project. What body style do you have? convertible, coupe or fastback?
Post some pics when you get a chance. Good to see another classic getting ready for the road.

Thumbs up Hey, hey, hey!!!! Another '66

Welcome to MustangForums. That felt strange, saying that... I just got here myself. It's a very active forum that will inspire. Have fun.

Are you using the Painless wiring harness. They're not that bad, unless you're colour blind, then you better call a friend.

Wilwood brakes? That's top shelf hardware. Good choice. I started to redo my brakes, but, changed my mind. I installed a set of loud air horns instead. Who needs brakes?

I have the coupe! The previous owner did a good job on the body work, but didn't do much with the mechanical systems. I guess it will be up to me to do this.
