Going to drive the Camaro SS today and the 5.0 (again)for comparison. I will post back my impressions and results. I have talked to my fiance about the the Camaro, but it just rubs him the wrong way. He is very anti-LS anything...LOL

Welcome aboard. Look forward to hearing your comparison.
I've sat in both and driven the 2010 stang. The interior on the 2011 is the same as the '10 and I like the interior of the new stangs over my '07 and FAR over the camaro. The difference between the '10 and '11 stangs is the engine/tranny. What I've read is the new 5.0 is a very reliable, powerful engine.
I've heard from quite a few people that have driven the camaro and didn't like it. Heck even when the car magazines compare the stang, challenger and camaro...the stang beats them both.
Good luck with your decision.

Here ya go guys from this past weekend
Well, here's my take. For such a big engine they really didn't have too much felt power as compared to the Mustang and the Challenger R/T. The instruments kinda suck and are hard to view because of the steering wheel. The car felt like it "wanted to go" when going through the parking lot but after entering the access road, I stomped the pedal and waited for it to really kick in, which it didn't!!!! There are quite a few blind spots like the Challenger but that's obvious. My final impression of the 2011 Camaro SS is this....not NEARLY the car that the Mustang 5.0 is...PERIOD!!!!!! Sorry to any SS owners, it's a nice car...I just like the Mustang 5.0 more.
Will keep ya posted on my man's plans for his future hot rod
