New to US and MFs

BTW, the US is similar to Aus in many regards, apart from driving on the other side of the road, the banking system here seems a little behind the rest of the world (no offence), social services are quite different (ie. healthcare, family assistance) and why hasn't the US converted to the metric system? WTF... I guess old habits die hard...
I enjoy the US but have only been to 7 states (briefly) thus far, so I'm not really able to say I have seen or experienced the 'real' America yet. Hopefully I can get some cruising time up in the Mustang and see a few more states before too long.
Oh, and us Aussies are fairly laid back and thick skinned, so please don't take anything I say too personally. We have a habit of being straight to the point, which doesn't seem to go over too well in the US.

Welcome to the board!
And V6 or V8, it don't matter none. Just like Ace said: A 'Stang is a 'Stang, and believe it or not, today's V6 'Stang makes almost as much power as the previous year V8!
Funny you mention how the US still uses the obsolete British Imperial measurement instead of SI (metric): In school, I always learned in metric because it is so much easier to understand and learn. The British Imperial is much harder because it is not base 10 (divisible by units of 10) like SI units are. Also, when you talk about weight and mass, the British Imperial call both of these units pounds which is utterly confusing because a pound-mass is NOT equal to a pound-weight (pound-force).

You're gonna love it in the States...and a Mustang, too? Whoa! How much more patriotic can you get?
V6'er or not, you're still part of this huge family, mate! Try and figure
out how to get more pics up. We love pics here
Enjoy your stay here on MF
