Default New to the forum - owner of 66 Coupe

Hi all,

Thought I should introduce myself and my Mustang in here. Just picked up a 66 C code coupe from NY. Currently has a 302 and C6 tranny from a 79 truck but I will be restoring the original 289 (hopefully by the end of summer).

She runs and drives but the Holley needs a bit of attention before I take her anywhere long distance (hence the trailer).

I was given a lot of extras with the car but I will have to check out the rules in FS before posting any info on them.

If you are wondering, the F250 has a 460 in it.

Looking forward to learning a lot on here.

Cheers
Scott

Very nice. My wife used to have a 65 coupe, white with red leather pony interior. She sold it for a frickin Acura of all things. We'll have another one day. Enjoy yours in the meantime and welcome.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I'll snap some more pics when the weather is better. Need to replace the carpet and a few other bits and pieces too.

Welcome to the board!

Very nice find! I was talking to a guy last night who ha gone through two late 60's 'Stangs, and he said when fully restored, they can be worth more than $15K.
GL on your endeavors!
