Hey everyone!

Picked up an 05 gt a couple days ago and I can't get enough of it! I've been a mustang fan ever since I was 12 so this is a bit of a dream come true for me!
She's got a little under 24,000 miles on her!

Thank you sicride! I want to put an exhaust kit on her I'm just having a hard time figuring it out. What would you recommend for the best sound?

Welcome! I put pypes pype bomb axel backs on my 08 GT and it sounds very nice. It is a muffler delete kit so it is louder but sounds very mean. It was pretty easy to install and it was the first mod I ever made to a car.

I bought the exhaust from AM...and at the time it was on sale but normally I think the kit runs for 279

Thank you very much yeti. I've been looking around and for some reason I haven't seen those yet but I like them a lot!

And Fridge, the guy from the dealership said that it was factory painted like that and it was very very rare but I don't know the guy could have been just b.s.-in me. haha.

 

you're welcome. AM recommends getting the new hanger kit but I used the OEM ones and they worked fine for me.

The install took me and a buddy of mine 30-40 min and it was the first mod Ive ever done. You wont regret it if you get them :-)
