New guy
New to the site but been around modified Fords and Mustangs for a very long time. Due to my move from SoCal to Louisiana, I had to sell my 331 powered FFR Cobra, and I miss it every day. I'm going to start another project soon, it will be a '67 Fastback with a Coyote 5.0 and a T56 trans. I'm still up in the air about the suspension, I'd like to use the suspension by Griggs/Cortex Racing or TCI. I'm looking at using a rebuilt shell or a Dynacorn body as a foundation, and will be doing most the assembly myself.
The Cobra took me 2½ to complete and I enjoyed every minute of it. The only thing I farmed out was the paint/bodywork and rebuilding the IRS pumpkin. The engine was a Ford Motorsport "B50" block Edelbrock heads and Vic jr intake, with a Holley 650 DP. It dynoed at 480 RW HP at 6100RPM. The engine was pretty radical, but was easy to drive in such a light car.
