Hey hows it going. So a little about me, Im a die hard Camaro/bowtie guy, have been as long as I can remember, but love knows no bounds and I fell a few years back for a Mustang loving woman.... So that is what brings me here, my girl and I are about to pick up a 65 Mustang for her and my mustang knoweldge is lacking. I have lots of questions and this seems to be the place to get the answers that I cant find on my own. As far as the basic mechanical aspects and all goes Ive got that covered, Im an ASE Master Tech by trade for what its worth but Im gonna need advice and info from you guys from time to time. Well I guess thats my intro and ill move on to another section for my first few questions. Im going to look at the potential car today so I should have more info soon but this is what i know. Its a 65 coupe, 289 4spd, bench seat, single exhaust, no external mirrors, and its teal. It belongs to my buddies dad, he bought it from the original owner about a year ago with the motor locked up, he found a numbers matching block for what its worth, and rebuilt it. (He wanted to keep the car all original, I dont think its rare and rather hope its not because there are a cpl modifications id like to do to it)...Well I guess thats it for an intro for me yall have a good day.
