I know prices vary by area, but around here $7k - $8k is the right range for that car.

Purchased!

Since the car isn't brand new of course, I have a tick list of little things that need work.

- Passenger side headlamp is flooded with condensation. Dealer is shipping me a new one for $0

- Weatherstripping on the passenger side, where the door and rear window meet is damaged. Dealer is shipping me new weatherstripping for $0

- Cover for when the top is down is missing. I never used it anyways, but grrrrr

- scuff marks on the rims, like curb rubbing. Its fairly minor. Is this easily repairable?

- the plastic vent assembly in the interior that surrounds the radio appears to have a broken clip in the dash. The right side of it sticks out about 1/2 inch. I can push it flush but it doesn't lock into place.

- Needs a waxing, BADLY.

But, overall for the price and age of the car, I cannot complain. I'm happy.

Of course, less than 14 hours since I parked it in my garage we're supposed to be 6-10" of snow... January... sheesh

Congrats on the new car! I was looking for a 00-04 as well and couldn't find anything around $8k that wasn't pushing 200k miles or looked like it was used in the making of every fast n furious movie.

I do not have the post count apparently to be able to post in the Wanted To Buy section for the forums.

I am looking for a replacement Boot cover for my '01 convertible in black. The Ford part number is 1r3z7654400aaa

Restoration places say they are still available through Ford so they do not carry them. Ford says its discontinued and they have 0 stock. Not to mention the suckewr retails for $500 smackers, which I would not pay regardless.

Oh I have..

My reason for posting here was to see if anyone had one here, because I am unable to post in the wanted section.
