Rescued a 04 Convertable V6 !
Hi all ! Long story short is a bought a 04 sonic blue convertable. Owned by a female in school. Rode hard and put away wet 
I think the person she bought it from did some mods to it. It sits lower than normal and from what i can tell it looks to have a Pypes cat back system. The top has been replaced "$5k" "she had the recipet". Chin spoiler. Also included but not installed is a light bar and hard tonu covers that need to be painted that go over the back seat when the top in down. Over all solid bones,53k miles and i got it cheap $5k.
So far what needs to be done in my mind. Shocks and struts. The front wheels scrap the fenderwells when going over any kind of bump.
The cat back system seems to hang too low and scrape. Going to take it into a muffler shop and see what they can do.
None of the 4 tires match lol. Alinement is way off. Seems to have a power stearing leak.
Mach 460, pass side speaker is blown "can this be replaced". Minor other bumps and bruses.
I did nothing more than drive it home last night. Getting off work soon and will take some pics.

$5k for a new top? She got ripped off. unless she had all the hardware replaced and not just the cloth.
The speakers are a cheap fix, but if you want a bigger upgrade than just speakers, Clarion sells a CX-501 headunit for under $200 or close to $200 dependig on where you buy. Bluetooth, MP3, hands free calling, USB, etc..

5k for both outer and inner top plus some fixing to the convertable system itself. It was an insurance clame. Ex boyfriend slashed the top.
Sitting here now while she is getting a much needed wash. Lots of bird crap and break dust on the wheels. Front rims were black.
