Problem with my battery
I have a 1994 Ford Mustang...it has a 1999 3.8L in it with a GT kit.
I put a brand new alternator in my car about 3 months ago, not a repro. I have gone through about a battery per year for quite some time. It seems as though the acid is being forced out of the battery....so I asked around and was told it was overcharging. Needless to say, my battery wont hold a charge for more than a few hours now. I had the main computer replaced nearly 7 years ago and this is stumping me since it has done it since before the computer swap.
I heard voltage regulator, but it is a new alternator....prior to that, I had replaced my alternator with a repro- but it went bad shortly after it's warranty expired. the car, like i said, has been doing this to my batteries for quite some time.
