The short story is an electrician I work with from time to time has had this for awhile and been wanting to sell it. 135k, auto $750. Get the radiator back in and hood on then I'll air up the tires and see how it runs. It's only been apart a couple months and was running fine just a year ago before being parked. Oil and trans fluid look new, top has slight splits at back bow, interior is super for an '89 showing little wear.

Now I know very little about these cars and so far only idea is paint, underdrive pulleys and electric fan. Is satin black with a single fat red anodized aluminum looking stripe wrong on these?

oh and I'm a contractor from SW Iowa from the clan Mitchell.

Welcome to MF.. best thing I can say is if you want to restore it to running and nice street condition would be to buy a hiltons or haynes manual and start going page by page.. The good thing, is these cars are easy. That was about the condition of mine when I rescued her, maybe a little worse since the interior needed some love too.. But within a year or so I had it into a pretty mean street/strip car.

I'll update as we progress. Hope to get it home yet this week and have fire in the hole sometime next. This is something I am hoping my 14 yo son will take a bit of interest in. As it is he could care less to drive the pickup.
