New 2013 Pony - 2nd time owner
Greetings,
My 2013 V-6 premium arrived last week. I used to drive our "Family Car" at the time, a 1965 convertable, 30 years ago. Since then have been raising kids and driving SUV's. I didn't really like what was happening with Mustangs from 1980 through 2005 anyway. But the recent styling caught my eye and I think with the 2013 model Ford really hit a home run.
I went with the V-6 to keep the cost down and not scare the neighborhood too much, but got a lot of upgrades - Premium package, Pony package, Rear sensing, etc. But held firm on a manual transmission even though the dealer said automatic would hold its value better. Kept the white color, like our original '65.
Very happy so far, lots of fun. The lines are fantastic, all the interior lights and guages, etc. Love the pony lights on the outside mirrors! Found out a little late on upgrading the gear ratio for a little more quickness - but may consider that aftermarket. For now - plenty quick for my needs.
