Soon to be Mustang owner!
Good morning all. Well, my morning hasn't been optimal.
Two weeks ago, I finished 5 years of honorable service in the United States Marine Corps. Of course I made many, young and dumb mistakes all Marines make, like buy a vehicle thats very impractical (2000 ML430 MBZ). Bought it with only 68000 miles. Young engine, but everything else is old. Thus, the radio died a year ago (which would cost 500$ rebuilt or 3000$ OEM). Passenger power seat died. AC stopped working, which sucked for the summer in SoCal.
And this morning, at 430 I was enrout to the gym, when my battery light came on, and lost all power steering. Great, serp. belt snapped. Will be around 700$ to repair. Currently unemployed, with zero income, im trying to hold onto my few grand I have left until I start work.
So, that was the final straw. Sick of this Euro garbage! Luckly, I have a good amount of money I made from investing in another account. So, after my 2nd Interview today for my prospective job, I will be Mustang shopping!
I'm a member of USAA and have savings Certificates for various places. If I can find a white, V6 2013, with a bomb warrenty, i'll be paying, in full, today if possible.
Looking forward to being a regular here, and looking forward to my new Stang. My lifelong friend (and crazy car enthusist) had a 2012 Mustang, and now has a 2013 5.0 Mustang. I fell in love with the 2013 Mustang. I was researching other cars, like Hyundais and Kias for their MPG, but their has been too much contraversy with their MPG claims.

Welcome, and good choice. But imports, Kias, Hyundais or whatever, still look gay, no matter how much power you put in them. 90% of the time cars sit parked, or stuck in traffic. So, you may as well have a COOL looking car while doing it I always say.
