Potential Mustang Buy
Hello everybody, I am close to join this great community as I am about to buy my first Mustang. I have a few questions I'd like to ask before I take the plunge and I'd greatly appreciate any help. Here are the details:
2007 Ford GT/CS Mustang
43k miles
Standard Transmission
v8 4.6 L Engine
Custom Rear Spoiler
20 inch Rims
Now here comes the catch... it's a salvage/restored title due to theft. The car itself is in prime condition with no mechanical issues as seen on CarFax, no accidents, no dents, nothing. So my question is, if any of you would buy this car knowing the set conditions, how much is the maximum amount you would pay for it?
Thank you for your time and I am excited to be a member of Mustang Forums.

Hi, welcome to MF. On your new ride, check with your .AZ, DMV. They are the best bet on the car. Find out what is the difference between a salvage title car and a restored title car in your state.Make sure it was not a flood car. Also check with your insurance agent. Most insurance company will not pay KBB value on salvage title cars. Carfax only shows what has been report to DMV or dealers, or repair shop that pay into their system. That is why they have no records for this car being in a accident or any other problems. As far as the price .The car is worth what you want to pay for it. There is no set price / value on it with KBB.Good luck

Thanks for all the input guys, I have decided to take it to my mechanic before actually buying the car. If he says everything is good, then I think I'll buy it. So far nobody has said no on the 12k price so I am assuming it's a great price even if it is a restored salvage car.
