13-14 Mustang GT's - How much did ya'll pay?
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I purchased my first Mustang ever earlier this month. I bought a 2014 Mustang GT(of course). I originally thought I got a great deal, however, I got excited, rushed the process and pulled the trigger on the first one I saw that I liked. I payed exactly $28,500 cash and I believe the invoice is $28,300. The more I sat and thought about it and the more I looked through my paper work (which I should have done before I bought it) I realized I may have gotten ripped off. I noticed looking through the paper work that I actually paid MSRP $30,000 minus a $1,500 rebate. I immediately felt stupid and thought I at least paid $1,500 too much. I feel I deserve being ripped off for rushing and being an idiot but I was curious as to what you all paid.

You don't want to know what I payed Then again, the car needed to be imported before I could buy it, but I'm pretty sure I payed a pricetag in 2006, none of you would even remotely consider for the car

It's a done deal so why worry about it man? If you find out people got better deals it will just make you angrier. I say don't sweat the small stuff, grab a beer and go look at that bad *** car of yours. Happy motoring.

Thanks you guys! I know I should just forget it and enjoy my 'Stang, I guess I like torchuring myself.
White03Vert- Thank you. This site seems like a friendly place with a wealth of knowledge.
StangingAround- You're the man. Will do!
Neko- I'm sure you paid a lot to import. Your 'Stang looks beautiful though.
2005Redfire6- I just wish I would have gotten it for $27,000.

Someone else payed for the import. I picked her up at a local Ford dealership.
I'm still amazed at the cheap price for a Stang in the USA (cheap by comparison that is). I'd toss the money for a new one on the counter in a heartbeat if those prices were valid here.
As a comparison I did a calc a while back on what a new Shelby GT500 would cost me. Convertible was set for some $56k with a lot (if not all the goodies). By the time I'd jumped through the hoops and payed due taxes for the import, and I'd get the car in front of my door, with no gas, no road taxes payed, no insurance (so just parked with the keys and papers in hand, and a licenseplate on there), I'd be looking at $130k as a ballpark figure.

sounds like a good deal to me I bought a '12 GT Premium for 28,500 about 6 months ago. it has everything except navi and the glass roof. I love it and so does my 8 yr old son. Probably gonna keep this one for a while.

Think you got a good deal, be proud and enjoy the ride! I bought a new 2011 GT last year that had a sticker price of $41,500. Has Nav, glasstop roof, all spoiler and scoops, track pkg, brembo brakes and since it had been on the lot for awhile I got $9,000 off the sticker price. Thought it was still high, but I got alot of the extras... so this one is gonna be here for awhile!!
