Hey all,
I became the owner of an 06 v6 last weekend. I have never gotten to own a Mustang before. I always wanted an 88-93 Fox 5.0 but never got one. but in 05 when the S197s came out. I wanted one but they were out of my reach. I knew I would have to wait a little and get one a few years old. So I finally did and man am I impressed.
I never drove one before my test drive last week. I did not expect the v6 to be that much. After all I was getting it as my daily driver and I drive 44 miles round trip every day. So I wanted the V6. But man this car is faster then my V8s I have had in the past.
So I hope to learn a bunch about my car from here. I have not had much time to look into what there is to know about the car. I work allot. So if any of you can tell me anything or tell me where and what to look for. That would be appreciated. I know that there is a performance version of the V6 Mustangs. What do I look for to see if I have that?
Right now I have another project in the garage, but when I am done with it. I am going to start doing some things to my S197.
