Hello from SW Missouri
Greetings all! New to the forums, but not new to Mustangs by any means.
Together with my oldest son, we just purchased a 1997 Mustang 3.8L. The car is hopefully going to be a nice project for us to work on this summer, and with him turning 18 in September, may be the last good Father / Son project we have for while.
As for me, I was raised with Mustangs. My first day of school, I was dropped off in my Dad's 1976 Mustang II. My first car was a 1969 302 3 Speed Coupe. Since then, I have owned a 1979 5.0 Notch, a 1984 Turbo GT, a 1986 4 cyl Notch, a 1981 Straight 6 Hatch, and a 1988 "Vanilla Ice" GT Convertible.
It is absolutely amazing to see my son carry on the tradition. I actually had a hard time letting him have the '97 after driving it home.
