Hi Everybody!
I want to know everyone's opinion on this since I can't decide.
As of now I am driving an 00 Xterra V6 2wd automatic with nearly 200k miles , but when I graduate high school I am more than likely going to get a mustang.
I really want to learn stick, I have driven a few sticks but I definitely have room for improvement (I just have trouble with first gear).
So my question to all is, should I buy a V6 and sell it later to get a GT? Or just go ***** to the wall V8 and stick with it? I currently don't know about insurance cost because its been over a year now and they still don't know I have a ticket for going 15mph over.
I will be starting college right after I get out of high school next year and I have a steady job working at Publix. Thank you guys!

First off Welcome! I'm 16 and have a 2000 Atlantic Blue v6 5speed! I can tell you how frustrating learning stick was! It took me about 2 weeks to really get it and now I don't even realize im driving one! Its natural! Every time I hop in my car I get excited to drive and as long as stick shifts are available, I will never buy another automatic! For you're first mustang and stick shift car, I would recommend getting the six. Just so you can get the feel for it with a little less power at your hands. Then once you've mastered it (in the mean time you can save some money) sell your six and get a v8! Thats what im doing! I'm actually selling my car here soon and putting a down payment on either a 2003 GT or a 2006 GT! Have fun with your car!

It all depends really. I'd go for a new edge. Very popular body style and people just love the looks of them! My cousin just sold his no problem! You may end up wanting to keep it as a daily driver if v8 juice gets too expensive lmao

Welcome, I'd just jump right into the V8, no point buying 2 cars. Insurance is going to be the fun one, maybe get under your parents policy for a bit to save some money or have your parents register the car for you.
