Hi everyone. I have been drooling over old school mustangs since high school and I plan to get one eventually. However I am not all that knowledgeable about advanced care for cars.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to bring myself up to the point that I could perform most maintenance on a mustang for when I get one. If it helps I have been looking mainly at the 66 models

Welcome, and as for learning to take car your future stang, I've found Google and Youtube to be very helpful. Youtube especially, there's a video for almost any project you can think of. Some are done alot better than others, but if you need to replace your brakes for example, there's a step by step video for it. Good luck on your car search, and if you have any questions feel free to start another thread in the correct forum.

I second this. Youtube has helped me very much. Also just do some general mustang research on google!
